MONKEY MAN

Post sketch: When a fearful soul turns into fearless with a slight modification in thinking, some revenge can lead to self-healing rather than the progress towards inner destruction at large. The screen plot is simple as a nomadic presentation, but the way of expression is carved in a detailed manner to sense the actual moral out of it.

Some people drain in fear most of the time, but some are exceptions to these cases; they become more productive and evolve themselves against atrocities. This movie is a prime example of the same plot with regards to the atrocities that the main character faces in the initial part of the film. This movie focuses especially on two major aspects: that each individual possesses God and Demon type personalities. The fact is that the lead and villain character has the same base which is base of life  in other word the wealth of having nothing in hands at present only just living creatures but as the plot progress with engaging screenplay both the characters lead to dominating in nature on each other but not at the same time but of course on the first half and second half  one after the another with same part of taking revenge but the base of taking revenge is different that makes these movie so interesting. Well, anyway, it is a one-time watch, but it is worth watching.

As far as the presentation of the movie is concerned, the lead actor, Dev Patel, has performed way beyond something that he is unable to describe in words. The whole concept of the movie was to the point, with a context of reference to God and Demon in it. You can interpret many viewpoints out of it, but the base will always remain the same: “Life is the base of all achievements.” You will eventually plot at the end of the screenplay, wherein the villainous character Makarand Deshpande begs for life over all his material achievements towards lead actor. Hence, when catastrophic events occur, whether you are dominating or submissive, you will wish to return to the genesis from which you claim that you created something out of nothing. In the middle of the scenes, there is a Jhon Wick movie reference, which movie makers humbly accept the plot is taken to create the generic base only and not the copy and paste logic. Well, talking about other characters, they all played beyond excellent.

This movie has an unbelievable special appearance by Indian table maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain, wherein you will see the lead actor being guided by him in an innovative manner. I am not giving spoilers to you, just presenting the gist of it: how wonderful are the scenes between both of them? As such, both are from different fields, but the art makes them parallel with a concentric effect as this special appearance of the maestro ends. I assure you that you will not enjoy this movie for the sake of entertainment but for the sake of self-discovery if your inner base of life permits you, or else if you leave aside the moral of the movie and just enjoy the action scenes, you will learn a lot that in the event of destruction, good people get brutally injured and bad people go extinct as usual. I personally won't be able to rate this movie. I just watched it once and will never watch it again because I learned the lesson that revenge is the hot cup of tea that will burn your hands if kept on hold for a while, as you will notice the hands of the lead actor.
