Standup reformer.

What an era we are living in the actual sense where TV news anchors are doing comedy and comedians are forecasting the actual news that is relevant to society in a satirical way. Personally, I am very fond of stand-up comedy. The reason for choosing this topic is that I have observed the pattern of why these comedians are becoming so political in their statements rather than to cast a clean comedy at large. Now the question arises: what is clean comedy? In my opinion, it is as simple as making a statement that is non-political and doesn’t harm the person emotionally.

As per the democratic rights of an individual, everyone has the right to express their views and ideology with a rational mind and to welcome constructive opinion in return. But the point of discussion is that the best of all content lies in being political all the time. The reason for the same is that in this attention economy, it catches more eyes and has a greater reach among a common audience. I am not an expert in standup reviews, but by seeing the trend of standup, only a handful of comedians are performing clean comedy, but most of them are underrated because their jokes are based on common-life instances and hardly have an influence on the audience.

But the question is that how people get influence is by observing their work on social media, and what does social media promote about spicy content, which may or may not be political? You know what people like; they like processed, clean political comedy, and in response, the comedians perform at large, and the cycle continues in a loop without any disturbance.

Again, the question with this arises: what political parties gain even from negative publicity is that it works more than positive word of mouth among the masses with regards to their existence.
